Management Team

Dr. Lakshman Thakur – Founder. Dr.  Thakur has previously been a Visiting Professor of Operations Research at Yale School of Management 1985-1987. His primary research interests are in the development and applications of linear, nonlinear, and integer programming methods in Management Science and function approximations in optimization mathematics. He has published in Management Science, Mathematics of Operations Research, SIAM Journal on Applied Mathematics, SIAM Journal on Optimization and Control, Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, Naval Research Logistics, and Computers and Operations Research. Dr. Thakur has served as a consultant to IBM Corporation on their Manpower Planning with Risk Assessment System and New Product Warranty System as well as a senior consultant and Director of Management Science in a consulting organization. He is an associate editor of Naval Research Logistics. His current research focuses on production scheduling, product design, and facility location problems. His research on scheduling (with Dr. P.B. Luh) is supported by a National Science Foundation grant. He is a member of Operations Research Society of America, The Institute of Management Sciences, and Mathematical Programming Society. Mukta Verma – Director of Development. Mukta Verma is passionate about girls education and women empowerment, especially in rural areas of India.  She has mentored in nonprofits for the cause of women. Naresh Verma – Program Co-ordinator. Naresh Verma is a passionate, entrepreneurial spirit analyst. He brings business analytical, Strategic management and education skills with the goal to provide a better life, better future and a better life for students. Shailesh Verma – Board Member. Accomplished IT executive with extensive strategy, planning, design and delivery experience for large-scale implementations in the Media, Insurance and Financial Services industry. Strength in establishing high performing teams while building strong relationships with key business stakeholders to deliver high impact solutions.
